ACULAR® LS 0.4% (5ml)

Acular LS is a sterile ophthalmic solution containing the nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drug ketorolac 0.4%. It is indicated for the reduction of ocular pain and burning/stinging following corneal refractive surgery.

Acular LS solution comes in a 10 mL bottle with a dropper applicator. The recommended dosage is one drop in the affected eye 4 times a day. Treatment should start 24 hours after corneal refractive surgery and continue through the first day of surgery.

Acular LS works by inhibiting prostaglandin synthesis to reduce inflammation, pain, and swelling following ophthalmic surgery.

Common side effects may include temporary stinging/burning, corneal erosion, ocular itching, tearing, and blurred vision. Acular LS should not be used if you are allergic to any ingredient.

Use caution when driving or operating machinery as Acular LS may cause blurred vision after application. The dropper tip should not touch the eye or any other surface to prevent contamination.
