ADDYI®100mg (30 tablets)

Addyi (flibanserin) is indicated for the treatment of premenopausal women with acquired, generalized hypoactive sexual desire disorder (HSDD), as characterized by low sexual desire that causes marked distress or interpersonal difficulty.

Addyi is available as a 100 mg tablet, taken once daily at bedtime. Addyi is not indicated for use in postmenopausal women or in men.

Addyi is a serotonin 1A receptor agonist and serotonin 2A receptor antagonist, thought to rebalance neurotransmitters in the brain to improve sexual desire. It is not known to enhance sexual performance.

Common side effects may include dizziness, sleepiness, nausea, fatigue, insomnia, and dry mouth. Addyi can cause severe hypotension and syncope if taken with alcohol. Abstain from drinking alcohol while taking Addyi.

Use caution when driving or operating heavy machinery until effects on alertness are known. Do not use Addyi if you have liver impairment or are taking moderate or strong CYP3A4 inhibitors.
