Brivlera® (brivaracetam) tablets brand in CANADA  
Brivlera is an anticonvulsant prescription medication used to treat partial-onset seizures in patients 16 years of age and older with epilepsy.
Key features:
– Active ingredient is brivaracetam, a selective SV2A ligand with a distinct mechanism of action to inhibit seizure activity
– Available as 10mg, 25mg, 50mg, 75mg, and 100mg film-coated tablets with a quadrisecting score for flexible dosing options
– Can be taken without regard to food
– Requires twice daily administration to maintain therapeutic drug levels
Starting dose: 25mg or 50mg twice daily; may be increased in weekly increments to maximum dose of 100mg twice daily
Storage: Store at room temperature between 15°C and 30°C; protect from moisture
Warnings: May cause suicidal thoughts or actions in a small number of people. Do not discontinue abruptly. May cause dizziness, sleepiness, tiredness, nausea. Not approved for use in pediatric patients below 16 years of age.
